A road that doesn’t read as quiet, a fuel stop that’s closed for good, a name that’s wrong — tell us. This map is built from public federal data, re-cut on an annual, manual schedule, and a report from someone who actually rode the road is worth more than another pass over the same source file.

What’s useful to report

• A road whose felt time doesn’t match what you actually met on it
• A fuel, camping, dispersed or lodging point that’s gone, wrong, or missing
• A road name, county, or byway designation that’s incorrect
• Any wording on the map that reads as a claim about anything beyond how many cars are on a road — it shouldn’t
• A bug: the map, the router, the roll chart, or offline mode not working as expected

Include the road name or state where you can — a link copied from the map’s address bar is the fastest way to point at the exact segment.

How to reach us

What this map can’t fix

The traffic counts themselves come from FHWA’s 2018 Public Release and update only when that release does — see how this is calculated for why, and what’s known to be thin (Texas, for one). A report about a specific count being stale is useful context for the next annual re-cut, even where it can’t change today’s map.
